Tamarand and Dragonheart

Tamarand and Dragonheart, is a realm located in Dimitar. It is bordered by the Platinum Peaks to the north, to the east by the Endless Sea, to the southeast by the Verdant Vale along the Kermes River, to the south by the Golden Sea, and to the west by the Sapphire Sea.

The state was created by Lareth from uniting the titles ruling the city Tamarand and the realm of Dragonheart, which at the time encompassed the different subregions of Dimitar, including the Golden Plains, the Elven Coast, the Havarlan Highlands, the Evergreen Valley, and the Verdant Vale.

Today, the realm holds dominion over the Golden Plains, the Havarlan Highlands, and the Evergreen Valley.

Long ago, in ages past, our Kingdom was ruled by dragons. Not the dragons we have come to love, but evil, chromatic dragons. Agents of Tiamat. The people of the Golden and Emerald Plains lived in fear under their tyrannical band. It was not until the Platinum Dragon, our patron Bahamut, came to our lands to put a stop to these fiends.

It was many years their war raged on, but alas Bahamut prevailed, and saved our people. As he departed to his holy plane, he tasked Tamarand to watch over us. The ancient Gold Dragon taught us what he could, and ruled us in an age of peace. Alas, he soon departed his mortal coil, and so we were left to our own devices. Not before he sired a son, our first King Lareth, named after Tamarand's old friend.
